The Organ Historical Society, Wisconsin Chapter &

the American Guild of Organists, Milwaukee Chapter

present Dr. David Bohn on the historic Schuelke organ at

St. Francis Church.

A native of Wisconsin, David Bohn received degrees in composition from the University of Wisconsin, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the University of Illinois. His primary composition teachers were Joel Naumann, Yehuda Yannay, and William Brooks. He currently resides in West Allis, Wisconsin, and is organist and choir director St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in West Milwaukee. His works were heard across the United States, in nine European countries, Israel, Brazil, and Australia. He is President of the Wisconsin Alliance for Composers, Vice President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Organ Historical Society, and was on the board for the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Guild of Organists; he also edits the newsletter for the Wisconsin OHS. Dr. Bohn has previously premiered three different Fifteen Minutes of Fame sets from two different calls, as well as The Daniel Blitz Clavichord Project, The 100-note Toy Piano Project, and most recently, The COVID-19 Project.
