Come join us in visiting five organs around the Chicago and Evanston area, featuring instruments by the Casavant, Lyon and Healy, Skinner, and Wurlitzer companies.

The Schedule:

8:45: St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Evanston (1922 Skinner Organ)

10:30: Shop of J. Weiler in Chicago (including the resident 2/5 Wurlitzer and the 3 manual Wurlitzer currently being restored for the Oriental Theater in Milwaukee)

Lunch on one's own

1:00 Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows, Chicago (1902 Lyon & Healy Organ)

2:15 Saint John Cantius Church, Chicago (1926 Casavant Organ, + Oberlinger continuo)

Those who wish to carpool should meet at Greenfield Presbyterian Church by 7AM.

Directions to St. Luke's Episcopal, Evanston:
Head "east" on I-94 to Chicago; stay on 94 (do not take the 294 bypass) to Exit 27B (IL-58/Dempster Street).
Head east on Dempster for approximately 4 miles to Ridge Avenue.
Turn right on Ridge Avenue, then take the second left (Greenleaf street)
Turn right on Chicago Avenue, then take the first left (Lee street)
St. Lukes is at the corner of Lee and Hinman streets. (
939 Hinman Ave, Evanston, IL 60202)
