About the artist:
Mr. Nicholas Liese has been a student of the organ for 5 years. These five years total 3 years of study with Dr. Martin Dicke in Peoria IL and 1 year each with Dr. John Behnke and Dr. James Freese (respectively) at Concordia University Wisconsin. He currently studies Organ Performance at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champagne) with Dr. Dana Robinson. When studying organ repertoire, Nicholas is particularly taken with the French Classical as well as the French-English romantic schools of music. While studying he will be working as a service technician with John-Paul Buzard Pipe Organ builders, a company to which he has been apprenticed for the past two years. In his copious free time, Nicholas enjoys attending organ workshops, learning new organ literature and reading the works of Twain, Steinbeck and Stevenson.
